Olympique Marseille central defender Nayef Aguerd received the highest rating among his teammates with an impressive 8.5 out of 10. His solid defensive display was complemented by his composure in building play from the back. Aguerd also made a crucial contribution in the attack by providing the decisive assist that opened the scoring for the Atlas Lions.
Mazraoui's opening goal
On the other side, Manchester United star Noussair Mazraoui capitalized on a smart attacking run to score the opening goal in the 36th minute after converting Aguerd's pass. This performance earned the full-back a rating of 8.3.
